FaxLab has been used by device manufacturers, network equipment providers, and carriers for the past 12 years to simplify the process of testing fax-device compatibility. It is used to test how well a particular fax device operates by emulating normal operation and error conditions for a wide variety of different fax devices, as both caller and receiver. FaxLab allows users to replace a room full of fax devices with software, which saves time and reduces costs. In addition, FaxLab provides a deeper level of testing than manual testing can offer.

It also provides improved FaxLab V.34 to V.17 fall back, new enhancements, automation, improvements to FaxLab 5x V.34 simulations and more V.17 simulations.
