XML-Journal (www.XML-Journal.com), announced today the launch of a key XML-focused conference and expo. XML DevCon 2000: Maximizing XML for the Enterprise (www.sys-con.com/xmlcon/) will be presented June 25-28, 2000, at the New York Hilton in New York City. XML DevCon 2000 is cosponsored by Oasis and will be produced by Camelot Communications Corp. (http://www.camelot-com.com/html/integrate_pr.html). XML DevCon 2000 will feature an intense four-day technical program focused on how to maximize XML for the enterprise. XML-Journal is published by SYS-CON Publications (www.sys-con.com), the world's leading publisher of Internet technology magazines, including the highly regarded Java Developer's Journal. XML DevCon 2000 is expected to attract more than 1,500 attendees from around the world, including programmers, developers, engineers, software architects, system engineers, Web developers, product managers, project leaders, consultants and educators on the East Coast and from the XML community concentrated in New York's Silicon Alley. Delegates will have the opportunity to master new skills from an exceptional lineup of educational tracks designed for users of all levels.

"XML DevCon 2000 will provide valuable insight for XML developers charged with maximizing XML to build enterprise applications," said Fuat Kircaali, founder of SYS-CON Publications and publisher of XML-Journal. "As the only national XML event organized on the East Coast in 2000, XML DevCon 2000 will be a historic forum where XML and Internet technology professionals will be able to meet and share their experiences with fellow software developers and recognized industry experts. The exhibit floor will provide an opportunity to preview the latest XML tools that will define XML's influence.
