Turns out their mail server probably just sent a big batch of old email since the mail date is October 9th, but the date in the actual email content is August 8th. Gave me a chuckle for so many reasons. :-) As for the acutal content... Most of the 'newsletter' is just ads and interviews that are actually advertisments."
This ComputerWorld article is asking the question if Adobe can revive ColdFusion. SYS-CON recently announced that they renamed ColdFusion Developer's Journal to Silverlight Developer's Journal, after Adobe decided that they did not see any reason to spend any marketing dollars supporting CFDJ and their ColdFusion community.
I do agree with Joshua though, ColdFusion looks like dead as a door nail...
